Dr. Kotlus Speaks at National Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Meeting

This month, Dr. Brett Kotlus spoke at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Atlanta, GA. He discussed brow rejuvenation with radiofrequency ablation (also called GFX or Relaxed Expressions). He shared the podium with Dr. James Newman, a California-based facial plastic surgeon. The lecture was well-attended and enthusiastically received.

Dr. Kotlus also presented research on ActiveFX and DeepFX, a fractional CO2 laser resurfacing device for wrinkle reduction, he presented his techniques for brow lifting using Bioglue, a surgical adhesive, and he presented data on large-volume fat transfer for facial rejuvenation. Also on the lecture circuit, Dr. Charles Mok spoke at this month's American College of Phlebology meeting at Marco Island. He talked about the CoolTouch laser and its applications for both varicose vein treatment and modern laser liposuction.
