Not surprisingly, a recent study showed that people with larger waists have higher risks of dying from multiple diseases including heart disease and breast cancer. The study followed over 100,000 people.

The best way to lose your belly fat is through lifestyle modifications including eating and activity changes.  The results of the study are not groundbreaking, but they are significant due to the large scale of the study and the pervasive nature of this problem.
