An FDA panel recently approved a medication that causes eyelashes to be thicker and fuller.  It was discovered when patients taking certain types of glaucoma drops called prostaglandin analogues were getting incidental eyelash boosts.  Drops such as Lumigan, Travatan, and Xalatan were hot items in ophthalmology offices for this reason.

Dr. Kotlus at Allure Medical Spa often prescribes thes drops "off label" for his eyelid lift patients to give them some extra enhancement. Other options offered by Dr. Kotlus in special cases include eyelash transplants. It is likely that eyelash enhancement will receive more and more attention in the coming years. It's a great way to brighten up the face!
